Angel update

I've not done a lot of stitching this week, but did do some this afternoon after I got off work.  Hope to spend most of tomorrow stitching :)  I moved my angel on to the floor stand so I can stitch with two hands, which lets me stitch a little bit faster.  I'll never be a really fast stitcher, but I can hold my own.

So without further ado, here are my updates on L&L's Ice Angel and my Bent Creek's Halloween Spooky Mantle.

I also added a picture of what the angel looks likes when it's done.  The blue is pretty, but my daughter loves purple (and always has) which is why I changed to colors.  You can also see I'm not very far :(  but more than I had done than I did when I pulled it out a week or so ago.  Hope to work on the white part of the skirt tomorrow.

I'm close to being done with the 2nd chart of the Halloween Mantle.  Just need to finish the vine at the bottom and add 4 more moons.   I need to expand the q-snaps again, and thought I had some extenders, but they must be on different projects already.  Either need to get some more or figure out which one(s) they are on and remove them.   this is stitching up fast and I enjoy working on it when I want to stitch, but not think too hard.

Already looking forward to Memorial Day weekend, I might use it for working on one or two of my quilt tops that need to be assembled.

Hope you all had a great week of stitching.

Sandy

  1. Gorgeous stitching! That angel will be stunning when she is finished. Sorry I am late to comment, I am so far behind in blog reading. Happy Easter! xxx
