It's been a fun weekend. I didn't do a lot of stitching, but enough that I am post an update. I would have gotten more done, but opted for two afternoon naps yesterday, they just felt so good.
To the left is my Iris and Fans, while the directions tell you to do each quarter, Like doing a little bit on each side and then duplicate it as I go. I'm starting the next round, but not enough to really see yet. Hope to have more update on this next week, its my mindless stitching. But then I really have to work on some other things this week, so you may not see it for a week or two.
To the right is my update on my SpiritDancer, working on the green. I'm not sure how many different greens are in that area, but a lot. I keep thinking, who would know if I just did it in varigated green??? But at the end of the day, I would and won't be happy with it. The lady herself is calling to me, so next update may be her. Would like to get her dress finished before I start on her head. We'll see what moved my spirit when I work on her again.
No this isn't a x-stitch, but wanted to show it off anyways. This is my granddaughter with her first fish. She was so excited. Wish we could have been there to see it all happen.
Last picture is the new tile around our kitchen. When we moved into our house there was wallpaper up in the kitchen with gooses walking - while it was "cute", I'm not into cute, I must prefer our new look :) We completed re-do the kitchen about 3 years ago, just never got the ceramic tile done until now.
