One down, one to go

I got one stocking completed and it's been mailed off!!   I hope my grand niece loves it for many years.  My sister made the charms that are attached to the staff - they are pictures of her son, his wife and the baby when she was born.

I almost have the second stocking done and will go back to work on it yet tonight.  I am also doing a rag quilt, that is almost all sewn together, which means I'll still have to clip it. I'm thinking I might take it to work with me tomorrow and sit outside and clip.

I've been thinking about 2016 and starting to plan my projects.  I have several needlepoints that I would really like to work on next year, so think it might be more needlepoint than x-stitching going on at my house.

Hoping to post the other picture tomorrow night - the cording will be tricky as I'm going to make it myself and have to remember where I put my hand crank to twist it.

Hope everyone is doing well and not stressing out with year end projects.

Sandy

Oh almost forgot - ALL of the pillow cases are done as well!!  Just have to decide who gets what!!  There are a few that I know where they will go, but a few that I will have to decided on.

  1. Wow you have been busy! This is beautiful and I love how your sister made personal charms to complement it too. I'm sure it will be treasured for years to come.

  2. Congrats it looks great! I don't have many plans for next year lol. I'm usually a fly by my seat person but we'll see. Good luck with your goals!
