Waiting for the weekend

It seems that during the week I really don't feel like stitching when I get home.  So I look forward to the weekend where I get in 4 - 8 hrs of stitching, sometime more sometimes less.

To combat this, and get something done I've decided to take something to work and stream Netflix while I either stitch or knit during my lunch.  I normally read, but hadn't felt like it for a while and I'm enjoying streaming shows.  This last week it's been knitting while watching Person of Interest, so enjoying watching the shows.  Anyway, I've managed to knit the heel flap, turn the heel and now I'm working on the gusset, once that is done I'll work my way down to the toes.  Unfortunately this is still the first sock, so will need to work on the second one when it's done.

This weekend I'm determined to kit up one of my small needlepoints so I can take it to work with me next week.  Which next week will include a quick trip to Denver for a training session and a visit with my sister!!  Might even find a shop or two to visit :).

I would show you pictures of my progress, but for some reason I can't get my photos to back up to my computer from my phone :(  Not sure what I'm doing wrong.  So I'll show you a few older pictures.

This is a hat that I knitted for my sister's granddaughter, isn't it cute???  it only took a few hours to knit, it took me longer to find some needles to start my casting off.  Wish I would have gotten a few of those kits to do.

When my girls were here we went to a couple temples that are in our area - this one is a Hindu temple and while it looks like a sand castle, it is really thousands of carvings.  They request no pictures on the inside, so can't show you how beautiful it is in there.

When my sister came for the teddy bear show in San Diego, we went up into LA to the Space Museum to see the shuttle.  It was fantastic and so very big.

Well hopefully I will get my downloading problem figured out so i can post what I have done over the last couple of week.  The moon is started to fill out again and will be full before I know it.
