So I'm constantly changing threads and it's slow going. I stitch and stitch and stitch and don't seem to get anything done :( I know I'm making progress, but it's hard to stay motivated when you aren't seeing a lot of progress and so I don't stitch as long as I do when I'm stitching big areas. I find any reason to stop, laundry, vacuuming, dishes, trip to Starbucks, etc.
The beading is going a little bit faster and I like how it looks, I should have the beads all done on the right side by the end of the weekend, but first I need to do some of the plants. It doesn't look like a lot, but there are about 5 different colors, so it will take me awhile. After my blogging break I will start that area. I'm bored with the pots already, I've been trying to get them down, and I'm getting there. I did do the little bit if back-stitching around the face and the most of the bird, I think I still have a little bit to go, maybe tomorrow.
I really do love this design and had it in my stash long before my daughter-in-law picked it out for their son, my grandson Addison (Carl). So it's not like I'm stitching something I don't like, I'm just running out of motivation....I guess I need to focus on the end result - it will be done and hanging in the wee ones room. And I can be stitching something new and different.
