UFO is now D-O-N-E!!!!
I've been doing counted cross stitch for over 30 years. At one time the only charts I thought existed were Leisure Arts so I can't tell you how excited I was the first time I saw a chart that wasn't Leisure Arts!! Not that they don't have lots of great charts, and not that I haven't stitched several of them, some I don't even remember anymore. But at the end of the day, their designs are like a drop of water in the ocean of designs. I don't think TIAG was the first big name designer I purchased, but I have 26 of her designs in my stash :)
I've discovered lots wonderful designers, but the sign of a great designer is one that lasts the test of time. The SpiritDancer was published in 1995, it wasn't Marilyn's first design and thankfully not her last. The fact that you can still walk into shops all over and see her designs for sale is a tribute to her talent.
This is the 4th L&L (TIAG) design I've completed.
Don't you just love that word....COMPLETED!!
I did this one for my grandson Carl Addison, it will be framed and hung in our guest room at home next to his brother's angel (Angel of the Sea). And if rumor has it right, there will be one more in there, maybe not next year, but soon. Right now I need to figure out which one I'm going to do...... I'm thinking Angel of Peace :) Which is all kitted up and ready to go cause I really like that one too!!
Until then, I have two more in process that I'm hoping to finish one day, Ice Angel - which I've changed to purple and EarthDancer - which can see has been started too. EarthDancer will be the next one that I'll finish, Ice Angel was for my oldest daughter, but then she had Donna, so Donna got her angel moved up ahead of her Mom's LOL Anyway, EarthDancer has been superseded by 3 other angels now, so it needs to be her turn.......start looking for progress on her, after I get a few other things done.
Hope you all have a great finish this year :) Now that I've basked in the glow of my accomplishment, it's time to move on to the next project!! This one will be mailed off tomorrow to the framer, the frame has been picked out already.

Hurray! She really looks incredible. You're right about the designer being amazing, and you're an amazing stitcher!
