Labor Day are a blur, I know they came and went, but don't remember a lot about them. Wasn't Halloween just a few days ago? And now the calendar is telling me Thanksgiving is right around the corner. Don't know why time is going by so fast, don't the stitching gods know how much I still need to accomplish this year???? I look at my list of things I wanted accomplished and it's hardly touched. I have managed to get the major project done, so this year hasn't been totally a loss.
Want to welcome the new people to my blog, I hope I don't disappoint you, and welcome and enjoy reading your comments.
Hubby and I went to Las Vegas for a few days at the beginning of the month. His sister-in-law gave us a box of pomegranates, which I got to shuck, or peel or shell, not sure what the right term is for getting the seeds out. After I got them all out, we put them through our new juicer, so we now have 48 ozs. of juice. Hubby wants to infuse some of it with some vinegar, but hasn't yet. I'm going to freeze the juice so it doesn't go bad. It was a lot of work to get all the seeds out, and I don't want to see it all go down the drain. I'm sure there was an easier way to do it than how I did it, but after awhile I got into a rhythm and was happy that my hands weren't permanently red after I was done.
I did work a little bit on my witch. She was a new start in October and is really stitching up fast. I've been doing some of the back stitching as I go along. Still need to finish up the flesh and the back stitching on the face and hands, then put the hair in and she will be done. I'm going to try a new way of finishing her into an ornament if there is enough material. Maybe she will be done for Christmas :)

Hope you all were able to focus on your own stitching while the moon waned then waxed. Not sure how much I'll accomplish before Christmas as I really need to do some sewing!! Also have 2 rag quilts to sew up, there are babies coming after the first of the year - how exciting!!
