I think I can put the kleenex away for a now

because it's time to get fighting mad.  My heart is breaking because my daughter has a very aggressive cancer, she starts chemo therapy next week.  She needs to want to live, she needs to fight, it will be the fight of her life and we'll be with her every step of the way as a family.

The hardest part for me is being 3000 miles away and in the midst of my busy season at work.  Talked to my boss and I will take some time off in a few weeks to go home for a week, then look at taking more time off in June.  Unless I need to go home sooner, then I'm on the next plane.  Hubby is with her and will stay until she doesn't need him anymore and her sisters will be going to her house as they can (she lives 3 hrs away from them)  We will move her in with her sisters in June when her lease is up, so she will have 24/7 help.

So, I've gone back to stitching on the angel.  While I was making progress, I had to ripppppp out the purple I did on the left side of the skirt as you look at it, not a lot done, so wasn't too bad.  I was off one row!!  After all of the hassle with my last L&L I decided it was better to frogggggg it out than deal with it later!!  Since I'm not sleeping too well, I might just stay up late and re-stitch what I took out.

Thanks for all of the hugs and prayers, she will need all the love and prayers you can send because our fight has just started.  There will be good days and bad for my family, there will be laughter, crying and lots of hugging going on.. I know my stitching will get me through the hardest parts, and will be a reward once we are back to the good times.  Also thinking about starting the Lizzy Kate - called something like..We do Family Here….

Hug your kids and hold them close any time you can because sometimes you just know if you'll get another opportunity…..I missed my opportunity when I was home a few weeks ago after driving 7 hrs one way to see my parents and back again, I just didn't have 6 more hours of driving in me, and her daughter was staying with her aunties for Spring break, so I opted to spend my last 3 days with my granddaughter and you can bet I hugged her any time I could.
