The moon got full without me

but it sounds like it's been a crazy time for a lot of people, so not feeling so bad.

Edit - the question for the month is I would like to know if you look for LNS’s when you travel. What is the favorite shop you’ve ever found?

That is an easy question - YES I always look for LNS when I travel, I love seeing what other shops carry vs. the ones I frequent where I live.  My thought is stash enhancement during vacation is allowable regardless of the $$ :).  I don't know if I have a favorite shop per-say because I tend to go to different places.  I know there are some that I've been very disappointed and wouldn't go back.  Can never understand a shop that has "bad manors" when strangers walk in.

Last weekend was the Kentucky Derby, being that I've lived in KY off and on for the past 20 some years, I have a kinship feeling when it comes around.  While we normally didn't actually stay in town for the race, we always enjoyed all of the festivities that came with the race.  So this year our granddaughter got her first taste of Derby fun by designing her own hat…. well it wasn't her first taste she came for derby when she was about 9 months old and had fun with her aunt trying on lots of hats (and wigs).  Her aunt helped her design this year's hat, they both love doing crafty things.

So what did I accomplish since the last full moon?  Not as much as I would have like, but more than I would have if it weren't for posting each month.  If you read my blog then you've seen my one finish, if not than it's new :)  I completed my Lizzy Kate - Let them all be small.  I made a mistake on this one, the flowers at the bottom should have been red, but I made them yellow and the lady bug should have been yellow, but I made it red.  Hoping to take it to the framers this weekend to be framed.

I also worked on my Nine Lives - it would have been done too, but I found an error and lost interest in stitching on it, so it's been banished to the bag until I feel like correcting my errors, yes more than one - I repeated the same mistake five times!!  You'd think I would have noticed before I did it that many times.  The part of the boxes with the black cats should be part of the tail, well I made them all alike, so I have to take out about 16 stitches on each one.  Which wouldn't be bad, but there are 2 colors, so it makes it a little bit harder to pull out the threads and then tie them back in.

Not sure what the question is for the full moon, so will have to add that later.  Until then hope you are all having a productive month and that the next trip of the moon around the earth will be more so.  I've been doing a little stash enhancing, so there may be a few new starts for the next moon :)

  3. She is such a cutie! I love the Nine Lives piece, but I completely understand having to put a project in "time out" due to errors. I had one myself this month, but thankfully it wasn't too bad to fix (just one color for me).
